When fitting any straps, always have the strap lower than where it is fixed on your unit.
When fitting to a park home, the best place is at the very bottom of your home as there is a wooden or composite batten that runs all the way around your home. We are not talking about from the ground up to the start of your home, this is usually boxed in with brick, wood or plastic.
When screwed in, pull strap for a bit of tension and put any excess strap into the clip on the strap. This will stop the unit lifting.
The same fitting instructions apply when fitting any of our units to a house, park home, fence, shed, or anything else.

Fix Your
Cabin Hooks
Please note, all Cabin Hook systems have been replaced with straps. If you still have an old model with hooks, and you haven’t fitted them yet, then follow the fitting instructions below.
When fitting any cabin hooks, always have the hook plate higher than the eye plate (fig 2).
When fitting to a park home, the best place is at the very bottom of your home, as there is a wooden or composite baton that runs all the way around your home (fig 3).
Lots of park homes are boxed in with brick or plastic, do not attach to this. Fit the cabin hook to the back side of the unit next to the trim (fig 2), then, put the eyelet onto the cabin hook and slide down to the baton around your home with a bit of tension, this will stop the unit lifting. Attach the eyelet to the wooden baton (fig 3).
